I purchased this for my son's birthday he loves it it's in his office It's Like A Conversation PieceI got this on Prime Day. It's a cool little light/novelty piece. It does feel cheap. But it looks good and it's inexpensive.I bought two of these! My dad and boyfriend love neat things on their desks. They actually work pretty good! Sometimes the globe sits pretty high, but they made such great gifts and add a nice touch for a desk!Possibly the easiest gift for low budget. Works well and looks great.Overall I'm very pleased. This is great for starting conversations.Another Amazon listed items for Australia with non Australian plug. Had to buy a converter. The globe floats only for a fee seconds and then gets attached to the top. Useless!I didn't like that the power plug was not Australian. don't like that the back lights are not completely covered on t h e half circle, we have another one and blacklights are brighter and full .Useless because of incorrect power adaptor. Why sell it in Australia if it does not work. Bought as a present. Very disappointedI would think if you are shipping this product to New Zealand that a power adapter should be correct. Had to go and purchase a US/NZ adapter to make the product work.
