Initial cutting was very impressive. The steel feels and sounds right and the edge might even be a convex grind which is very exciting for me. Very good appearance despite the more modern style logo being a compromise in what I was looking for. Spine of blade is not super refined but not really uncomfortable for cutting with pinch grip. Blade looks well set into the handle with no highly visible gaps between the steel and wood. The inlay is a real metal inlay. I plan to lightly sand the ends of the handle just so the corners at the top and bottom are slightly more smoothed out. I had thought that somewhere in the description it referred to it as a carbon steel blade when I ordered. As of yet its acting like it is stainless which is almost disappointing for me but only for my niche tastes. The price very good for the overall design, look, and performance offered.
