See littlebits site \prop-65.They contacted me to reassure, which is good service - but no clarification on the above.Apart from the above there are serious issues. Note, that I wanted to like this product. An I will still try.1. Bits can stay well together up to max. 3. Then you need the 2 provided boards. To which it is very difficult to stick, especially for kids2. When connected to a Bluetooth Bit, a motor should perform no action unless ordered to. No, the little car will run around, unless you stop it with the tablet application3. Application (have it in Android) requires login every single time. Why? What's to protect?4. Application has a driving utility that should steer the 2 BT + 2 motors car contraption. Well, tablet tilting axis is of different orientation to the car, so it is confusing. And no explanations provided5. Finally, LEGO conversion modules were not included. It is not claimed otherwise in site and on box text, but till recently product picture showed it, so they took the accessory out. That was a bit of let downLast, but not least, one of two motors stuck in first day and servo broke (only emitting a sound) in first week. With minimal play and no abuse. Shop checked and replaced. I hope new kit does better.I have to state that I bought it in Greece and paid EUR 250 for it (ca. 265 USD). I do not see why the tremendous price difference with US?So much money for a game, I expected only the best quality.Please, customer service, improve on those and give us first a better Application.I love how detailed the instructions are on the app (no need to use the booklet with instructions). The app is super easy to use and connect. However, the actual product is hard to use when it comes to assembling parts, you actually have to press really hard to insert the bits and quite often they come off.I knew the product is very expensive but I purchased it anyway so my kids can have fun building something together. Now I realize that the product is even more expensive than what it's worth considering how hard it is (must use physical strength) to connect the bits inside parts. I think this item is not worth more than $120 although the idea is very good.Good concept, good instructions, but the little bits are broken already. I bought this for my son for his birthday since he loves technology, but after playing it for a good solid two months, the little bit's motors sadly died. All of my son's inventions were then ruined because the motors died on him. He was going to show his nerf shooting robot for the school's talent show, then the day before the school's talent show, the motors died. My son wept, and mourned at the loss of not able to show it at school. As a parent it is already hard to provide food on the table and when we pay, we expect quality, we didn't get it here. If you are a parent it is hard to see your child's dreams crushed right in front of them. My son used to be postive, but now he is never happy or show his creative side as much. Also, as parent who is struggling to provide for the family, I can't afford to buy a new little bits, since I know it may break in the future, I am not going pay for something that I know not just break, but also break my son' heart. This is my son's experience so please fix the quality of your product so other parents wont have to endure pain and heartache from their son or daughter.This is a hard review! It was top on my 9 yer olds xmas list as she had seen it at a school science fair. The price is very high for what you do get. She has made a few small things but can't do much without a lot of help and it prob has only been touched twice since xmas . You also need apps and books to give u instructions and use options. Maybe a good get for a very technical kiddo and parent .Great toy. One problem is the Bluetooth le modules and the little bits app for Android which is not full features. If you have an iPhone this is not a problem. (So you are dependent on a smartphone to get the most out of the kit.)On a general note this toy is perfect for the tinker-parent. Lots of possibilities a d highly addictive--be prepared to order more bits:)Little bits are very cool - dealt with them directly before stellar people - so give them 5 starsStay away from CGK Products however as the supplierBought this for daughter she bday. As soon as she opened it we knew it was NOT new. OEM battery was missing and in its place was massively corroded Duracell. Can not believe they resold this! Parent nightmare for bday present.Bad bad vendorBought this for a gift and they love it! Gets the kids excited about actually building stuff - rather than just staring at the TV or asking to play digital games. And it's flexible, so unlike other toys and games that they play with once and get bored, they can keep modifying what they build to get hours and hours of entertainment (and hopefully learning too!) Would highly recommend!The kit itself is great, but the app does not work and there are tons of terrible reviews about the app not working.Parts missingAwesome!
