This is desk is awesome for a young child. I got it for my four-year-old daughter, who wanted a "homework" desk like her big sister, even though she doesn't get homework yet. I love the fact that it works like a drafting table (her big sister's "desk" is a drafting table), and that it is easy to raise and lower the tabletop. No problems with the drawer, and the bookstand is a cool touch. Assembly wasn't bad - took me about an hour - but the assembly instructions are TERRIBLE; the worst I've ever seen, and I majored in technical writing in college. The number of screws and parts are flat-out inaccurate, regardless of what you count; generally critical bits of information - like exactly what screw to use with the bottom of the chair, or that the holes are even IN the bottom of the chair - are totally missing. It's not hard to figure out, but it does take a little extra time. That said, since I did in fact figure it out, I won't drop a star from what is otherwise a five-star desk. It raises and lowers VERY easily, which is a bit maddeding when there are warnings not to raise it too often, but the desk and chair itself are very durable, and plastic is easy to wipe down. Very satisfied, and glad I took a chance on it.Very nice desk except for 3 things:1. Tablet/Book stand does not rotate.2. Tablet/book stand rotates down when angled and heavy Tablet or heavy book is on stand.3. Kids tend to rock chair back when idle. One improvement could be prevention of tilting chair.It would have been much easier to put together if the written portion of the instructions didn't require a magnifying glass to see.It was cracked, scraped paint on plastic and metal, knob to adjust the top of the desk was missing and it was dirty.As this is a birthday gift for my grandson and I need to give it to him in 2 days I completed putting it together and sent an email to the seller.Waiting for a response to see how or if they will offer to fix this.This desk is perfect for homeschooling, reading, drawing, doing projects, the possibilities are many and I love that it also holds your book or tablet, has a great organizing compartment, a dimming light, and even a cup holder to help keep any beverage spill mess at bay. I strongly recommend this desk for anyone in search of a perfect product.Great desk, well made and very easy to put together. Daughter loves having her own space. The only reason for a 4 star and not a 5, is that it was very dirty when we got it. I wish I had taken pictures... but I def had to wipe the entire thing down with soap to clean it up. Had a layer of dust and dirt on almost all the surfaces. There are also a few flaws on some of the plastic parts. Will update with images soon. Nothing major and does not affect the quality... just minor things.Great quality! Is perfect for little girls.They are perfect for my 8 and 7 year old. The assemble was so easy and they are very sturdy!Solid desk, a little tricky to put together, but quality product except desk draw is off track and I still have not been able to put on track so that my daughter can open it and use it,afraid if I pull and push too much it might break, lttle disappointed.
