I bought one for my son then daughters wants them too so I bought few month. This one is extra nice because of the magnet balls are color.Did have to return 2 rainbow one because the magnets either chip or crack but other color like gold or black is ok.Very cool item! My son enjoys playing with these magnets. He makes a lot of creative thing with this set. He loves it.Such a fun idea, good qualityMy daughter and I both really appreciate having something to do with our hands while we're in certain situations--at church or in Sunday school, or even while working on our own writing at home. This pen has a lot of different options and ways to play with it in both overt and subtle ways, making it good for a lot of different situations. I REALLY appreciate that it comes with a total of 5 tubes of ink, considering that it will probably be impossible to find more ink for this pen (without buying an entire new set). In case it's not clear in the description, the pen shaft rings are magnetic, while the rest of the pieces are simply metal, so the rings have to be involved in any use of the rest of the pieces. I'm not saying this is a bad thing, though, just an observation.We were surprised to open the box and find a seed paper inside--paper that's infused with wildflower seeds that can be grown if desired. It's a completely unrelated and unnecessary item that's really a nice extra touch.I included a picture of one of the magnetic rings that has already chipped after owning the pen for no more than a week. I hope it's just a fluke and that the rest of the product will stay intact. It's still usable, but since it broke so quickly, it lowered my star rating to 4.I have 2 ADHD kiddos, and I'm always looking for things that might help channel some of that restless energy. I've seen all sorts of fidget items, but I've never seen a pen. I figured I'd order one and check it out.It's....interesting. The magnets are very tactile and are fun to play with. The actual pen part is really kind of ineffective to use, but then again, I suppose that's not really the point.Everything is included you see in the photos, all items inside are magnetic. Several replacement ink cartridges are also included along with a gift which you plant and apparently grows an identified seed which is said to produce flowers on the card included. The pen is magnetic as well as the ball bearings. Comes packaged nicely in a heavy cardboard storage box. Nice quality product.For under $15, this is a great gift or a fun toy to fidget with on your own. We had one of these in all black and I think these colors somehow make it way more fun to play with. The pen writes well, though it's not as comfortable as my other pens to hold. The magnets are very strong too. I really use this mostly as fun magnets to play with and much less as a pen. I wish it came with a magnetic dish or container that could hold all the balls together. The box organizes them well but they fit tightly in their spot, and when I try to take one out, I often push on the foam and others start falling out or rolling around under the foam. It's also a bigger box. I feel like a 3" round magnetic plate or container would be great to hold on to all of these. The pen would be the only thing that wouldn't fit, but I'd be okay with that. For under $15 though, you can't expect too much. I may look for a magnetic paperclip holder or something to eventually contain these all. This is lots of fun for both adults and kids!My 7 year old loves this! Keeps her fidget fingers busy and imagination active too. Her friends all asked where she got it. So if you looking for a fun stocking stuffer with Xmas coming up in like 9 Saturdays from the day of this review. Or even some other gift ?
