This is a small, lightweight rechargeable clip-on light that is being repurposed as a grill light. It’s not nearly as large as the illustrations would lead you to believe. There is a clip attached to it that could be useful in attaching it to a cap visor (where it would be difficult to aim it.). It comes with some flexible straps (labeled as “Cycling Bike Light Holder”) and a picture instruction on how to use the straps to attach the light to the handle on a grill. The light is rechargeable which some may regard as a feature but I regard as a flawed design. Sure, it doesn’t need batteries (aside from the CR2 which can only be accessed by disassembling the light) but it takes quite a while to charge with a USB-C charger. Each successive press on the switch turns it on (1) bright (2) dim (3) blinking (4) off. Each successive wave of your hand in front of it will also put it through these steps. Again, some may consider this a feature, I found it tricky and inconvenient to have to go through these steps to turn it on or off. Finally, the light is not very bright. It comes in a set of two and both together do not give enough light to fully illuminate my grill surface. The blinking light feature is useless for lighting up the grill. There are some nice grill lights out there to aid grilling at night but this is not one of them.
