10/10The magnet was quite strong, especially the one with the light, and the light was good in dark areas. I really like this product overall and use if for other things like as a pointer or to see down holes!The valid complaint of some others is that it did not work out of the box, the batteries were obviously old. I replaced them for $2.50 and cleaned a little bit and everything worked great . I think adding $2.50 to the cost of the item still makes it a better deal than others I saw on line. Not good as a gift though.The quick of it is this... This a nice set. They stretch out quite a bit to reach those places where you cant reach. The magnet’s are strong as well. The bigger of the two with the light came with rust on the inside of the threads where the batteries are put in. The battery/light bulb set up is sub par but works and is bright enough. NOTE: Don't dip the lighted one in any type of moisture it will rust. I imagine that the unit I received had been previously purchased and was sent to me with the rust on it due to that very issue. I chose not to return it as it still functions even with the rust on it.The long telescoping antenna looking magnet is awesome. You wont be disappointed. All in all it is a good choice. I gave it three stars because of the little bit of rust that came in the threads when I purchased it.Would recommendI wish I had bought this sooner. After I spent 45 minutes getting a wrench out of the body of my car (dumb mistake) after dropping it, decided to get one of these.Just came in handy when I dropped a screw from the cover of my shower drain into the drain. Was able to retrieve it easily.Wish I bought sooner. It is strong enough to pick up a wrench off the floor, and small enough to get into small places.It broke after a year of having and has only been used once or twice.Long story short, I lost a AA battery in the attic. After much trudging about, picking up mostly screws and nails, I realized I could use my phone to help me (with video), and this bad boy helped me retrieve it. I did remove the batteries for the flashlight though. So thankful I bought this.
