Rachael Ray Non-Slip Solid Spoon - Blue Kitchen Utensil for Cooking, Baking & Serving - Perfect for Pasta, Soup & Stir-Fry

This is a replacement spoon. I have had two spoons and two slotted spoons for a few years now. I use them daily. Unfortunately, due to a hospitalization, I missed getting a soiled spoon washed. After about four days the food on the spoon spoiled and ruined the spoon.I wish the "bowl" was a little larger. This spoon dishes small portions of pasta or potato salads.Y'all - my husband will straight up refuse to stir something without this spoon - it got lost and we had to reorder, found the original, then we got one for Christmas and now we have three of them. They are super easy to clean and have the nice little notch on them to hold on the side of the pan.This is a sturdy and heat resistant spoon that can easily and snugly rest on the side of a pot. It is my favorite utensil of the year. It would have gotten 5 stars had it been manufactured in the US rather than China.I do not have Rachael Ray pots so the slot in the handle of the spoon is too wide for my farberware pots.Uses to stir soup, stew etc. in large pots. Convenient notch for hanging on pot rim.I purchased one as a gift and a few extras for me. These are fantastic spoons. They're soft touch but very firm. They have a decent sized divot but it's not so big it flings things out of the pan. There's no staining on the grey or blue ones, and they clean so easily. I do not put mine in the dishwasher. The notch in the handle may be gimmicky, but it won't stop you from using it! I have three of these and they really are fantastic spoons. Great for non-stick, aluminum, and enameled cast iron. I've not tried them on regular cast iron. My oldest one is just over two years and still going strong with no scratches or tears in the material.I have been looking at the Lazy spoon forever and wanting to buy it. However, I was using three wooden spoons to cook with and my Husband was dead set on keeping them. Well I recently retired and have been cooking and baking alot. So I made the decision to purchase the Lazy spoon and threw away the wooden spoons. So glad, I love the size, shape and dark red color of my new Lazy spoon. Thanks Rachel Ray!!!I wasn't expecting much from this whole line of utensils. To be honest Rachel Ray kinda annoys me, however I'm in love with the whole lazy utensils line. They stay on my pot rim and off my counter tops, I haven't managed to burn or melt one yet which is pretty impressive considering I'm a menace. Plus, they have enough silicon squish to them they are great for stirring and scraping without damaging my cookware. They feel substantial in your hand which is nice, you don't feel like you will accidentally snap it in half or bend it. Oh and the handles do not get hot when hanging from the rim and over the burner, which is super nice.I wish more of them came in the green, I've had to buy a random assortment of colors just to make it work. I guess that is my only complaint!For the spoon, slotted spoon and turner which I purchased of the Rachel Ray utensils with the notch in it to sit on the pot/pan, the pot/pan has to be quite thick. If it is not thick then the utensil does not sit overtop of the food, it slants into the pot/pan and rests on/in the food being cooked. Other than that they are great quality utensils.Buen producto, resistente y bonita,pero la cuchara es muy plana, si fuera un poco más profunda sería perfecta.This product is better than I thought it would be. Feels very comfortable in my hand and I like that it has done weight to it. I'm very pleased with this product and will definitely be purchasing more!Love the spoonThese spoons are very sturdy and comfortable to hold in your hand. The best feature of course is the slit in the handle. Just slip onto the pot and it doesn't fall off.
