Good start, right idea, but I think the magnets got put in backwards. Mine attracts rather than repels, so needless to say, there’s no bounce. What it does work great for is as a pen that stays magnetized to my refrigerator. When other pens go missing, I can count on this one being there.This pen is enjoyable to play with. The pen can be taken apart into 9 parts and the cap can be taken apart into the magnets, tube, and stylus tip. As the pen arrived, the magnets caused attraction, but you just need to flip them in order to make them repel. I find myself disassembling and reassembling pens as a fun fidgeting activity, and this pen allows you to do that all the time. I tend to put the pen back together in a different order all the time.It’s nice in the hand and is not too heavy, most of the weight is right at the bottom of the pen. The frame is made of some sort of non-ferrous metal and exhibits Lenz’s law (the cool copper pipe-magnet trick). Material choice is spot on here and serves a purpose as well as looking good.The plastic tube the pen comes in serves as a way to store the balls and the pen. I do not use the balls much as I enjoy messing with the magnets far too much, but they are there. The cap for the tube is made of soft rubber, making opening and closing the pen easy.This pen has a replaceable cartridge, the cartridge itself is not branded but writes very smoothly with nice dark thick lines (probably a .7mm gel refill). I personally think the precise v5 refills are the best and with a little sanding, the refill will fit this pen. Zebra .5mm refills will also fit but you will need to roll up papers to push the refill forward since the pen is too long for the Zebra.This pen is very nice, and I would recommend getting it if you like what you see.The pen works well, however, it seems like more of a distraction to me.
