My husband was really doubtful when I bought these, but I grew up with these and convinced him to try. He not only admitted that he was wrong but he always uses them an even told our friends about them. As someone who dislikes peeling oranges with fingernails, these are a huge improvement.We had these at home when I was a kid. I was happy to see we can still get them. Makes starting the peel super easy… and turns into a game of trying to get the peel off in one piece. ?When I discovered this device at a dollar store, I had to ask what it was for. I’m so glad I did! I’ll never peel another orange or other piece of citrus fruit without one. Gone forever are the days of getting a “rind cut” under my fingernail and then having acid flood it.The one I had for for about 5 years finally broke and so I bought these on Amazon. There the same, and so cheap for the amount of use I get from them.I love citrus fruits but hate peeling them by hand as it stains your fingernails. This tool is sturdy, easy to use, and easy to clean.Happy. That’s me because I have been searching for this simple, brilliantly designed citrus peeler for a very long time. I originally got one like it at a Tupperware party eons ago. Then I lost it and this one is the first one I’ve been able to find that works as well as the first one. I know.... awesome.Peeling oranges with your fingers is usually ok, but sometimes you get the citric acid shoved up a finger nail and that can hurt when you get older. These make peeling oranges so much easier.
